Buttermilk wheat bread
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsps active dry yeast
3/4 tsp salt
2 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon butter,melted
1 1/2 cups milk
Directions
1)Preheat oven 325 degrees F(165 degrees C).Lightly grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan.
2)In a big bowl,combine all the ingredients all-purpose flour,whole wheat flour,yeast,salt and sugar.Stir in butter and milk mix well in mixer on medium speed about 3 mins,Add a splash more buttermilk or a handful of flour if it is too loose.
3)Bake for 70 mins or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.Remove to wire rack to cool.
