Brownies

Ingredients

2 cups brown sugar

1 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup chopped walnuts(optional)

2 tsps vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 cup butter,softened

Directions

1)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C).Grease and flour a 9x11 inch baking pan.

2)In a large bowl,combine flour,salt and cocoa powder.Mix the butter and brown sugar until smooth.Beat the egg one at a time,then stir in vanilla extract.

Stir in flour mixture just until moistened.Stir in walnuts,if using.Spread the batter evenly into prepared pan.

3)Bake for 20 mins or until the top is dry and the edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.Cool before cutting.
