Sinigang na bangus(milkfish)

Ingredients

2 lbs bangus(milkfish),cut into a diagonal

1 onion,sliced

2 cloves garlic,minced

3 tomatoes,chopped

1 pack tamarind mix

2 medium eggplant,sliced

kangkong(river spinach)

okra,sliced

1 tablespoon cooking oil

2 cups water

1 tablespoon fish sauce(patis)

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1)In a large pot,heat the oil over medium heat.Saute garlic,onion and tomatoes.

2)Add water.Simmer for 5 mins.Stir the tamarind mix for 2 mins to dissolved.

3)Add the bangus(milkfish),cook for 10 to 15 mins or until the fish is tender.Add the eggplant,kangkong and okra.Simmer for 4 to 5 mins,or until the vegetables is cook.Salt,pepper and fish sauce to taste.

4)Serve with hot plain rice and patis for dipping.
