Meatloaf

Ingredients

1 1/2 pound ground beef

1 1/4 tsps salt

1 egg

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs

1/2 cup milk

1/3 cup steak sauce

1 onion,chopped

1/2 cup green bell pepper,diced

Directions

1)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).Lightly grease an 9x5 inch or any baking pan.

2)In a mixing bowl,combine the ground beef,salt,egg,black pepper and bread crumbs.Pour in the milk,3 tablespoons of the steak sauce,onion

and green bell pepper.Mix well.

3)Place the mixture into the prepared baking pan and shape into a loaf.Brush the top with the remaining steak sauce and some ketchup.

4)Bake for 1 hour or until the juices comes out clear.Allow to rest 5 mins before slicing.

TO MAKE THE GRAVY:you need

1 tablespoon butter

1 cloves garlic,minced

2 stalks green onion,chopped

red and yellow pepper,chopped(optional)

1 tsp thyme

1 bay leaf

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/3 cup milk

1 1/2 cup beef stock or chicken stock

Directions

1)In a pan,melt butter over medium heat.Saute garlic,onion and green and red onion if using until tender,about 5 mins.Season with thyme,bay leaf and black pepper.Stir in milk and stock.

2)Increase the heat to high,and boil uncoved until liquid is reduced by 1/2,about 10 mins.
